Coordinate Inspection
Coordinate inspection in aluminium alloy die-casting process plays a role in precision control and quality assurance, helps to improve product accuracy, reduce defects, optimize the process.
1. Accurate measurement of casting dimensions: CMM is able to measure the geometry, shape and position of aluminium alloy castings with high accuracy. Aluminium alloy die castings usually have complex shapes and high precision requirements, through the CMM can ensure that the key dimensions of the castings are in accordance with the design drawings, so as to meet the assembly and use requirements.
2. Detection of geometric tolerances: aluminium alloy die castings usually have strict requirements for flatness, perpendicularity, coaxiality and other geometric tolerances. Coordinate inspection can accurately detect these tolerances, to avoid the size of the castings into the subsequent production process, reduce the rate of defective products and rework costs.
3. Auxiliary mould calibration: the design and processing of the mould has a direct impact on the quality of aluminium alloy die castings. Through the three coordinates inspection, can be casting size feedback, help find the mould design or manufacturing deviation, timely calibration and adjustment of the mould, improve the accuracy and durability of the mould.
4. Analysis of deformation and shrinkage: Aluminium alloys undergo certain deformation and shrinkage during the cooling process, which may lead to dimensional deviations of the castings. Coordinate inspection can help detect these deviations, summarise the shrinkage law of castings through data analysis, provide basis for process adjustment, optimise process parameters in the production process, and reduce the dimensional deviation caused by deformation.
5. Enhance product consistency and quality stability: through the three coordinates inspection of each batch of castings, we can ensure product consistency, guarantee that the casting size is within the qualified range, and reduce assembly or functional problems caused by unqualified dimensions, so as to improve the quality of products and customer satisfaction.
6. Support quality traceability and improvement: The data records provided by the CMM can be used to trace quality problems, analyse potential causes of defects and improvement opportunities, and provide data support for the optimisation of the production process, thus achieving continuous quality improvement.
